Yea, but the color they get when they are shedding is a bit different then mood colors. When they are shedding they get more of a white color. and they get it on all parts of their bodies.

: My igs get darker and darker.The older one (Godzilla is around 5 or 6 years) gets very dark brown and the juvies get very dark green and the stripes almost black.And dont forget in Kuala Lumpur the temperature is ALWAYS (the whole year!)around 95F!
: I have seen Godzilla with lighter head and hands but its not because he is out in the sun, I dont know the reason.I think is because he is shedding.

: : It could be a sign that it's not quite warm enough yet, because usually iguanas will get lighter when they are out in the sun. Especially their heads get lighter.
