Well, instead of it being yet another of "those" days, I'll admit it. We took the day off. "Egads!" you say....
Well, let's see. After the extremely successful trip to Philadelphia last week our numbers have decreased. If you ARE looking to adopt feel free to stop by the website and see who is available as some of these listed are personal pets....
23 igs (6 personal)
2 Pixie frogs
3 Cuban Tree frogs
1 Bibron Gecko
1 Flying Gecko
2 Golden Geckos
3 Bearded Dragons
1 Russian Tortoise
1 adult Burm
1 juvenal Burm
2 red tail boas
1 Common boa
1 Ball python
1 Jungle Carpet Python
1 Amazon Tree boa
1 Albino Prarie Kingsnake
1 Malagasy plated lizard
1 green basilisk
1 brown basilisk
1 Nile monitor
1 Savannah monitor
1 Greenwing Macaw
1 Parsons' Russel Terrier, Shar-pei, Retic, Weimeranier (sp. it's late), iguana dog - Jack
What we've turned down this week:
2 American Alligator
3 green iguana
Speaking of that... It's hard enough trying to understand why people want to raise a lizard with such specialized requirements as an ig but would someone PLEASE explain to me exactly WHY anyone would want to keep a lizard that could potentially hit 10' and easily take body parts? Granted, a 6' Nile is nothing to sneeze at either but after playing tug of war with him his bite is nothing compared to something along the lines of a gator... (sigh) I'm not sure I'll ever understand....
