My iguana goes a bit batty at times when I try and bring him in after having him out with me. I'll take him out and he'll stay right with me, but when I try and bring him in he tries to jump off of my back and make a run for it. I have to play the old "put your arm behind your back and catch the flying ig trick", which i've become quite adept at doing.

Hi Ecko,
: Don't worry--Hoss's behavior is normal. Most iguanas will go a bit "psycho" when exposed to full sunlight. Ours did at first, but with repeated sunlight sessions, they are mostly normal now when we bring them inside.

: Someone more qualified than I am can tell you the reasons why this happens, (I heard once, but have forgotten the exact reasons why this happens.) I just wanted to assure you that many people on here have experienced the same thing after bringing in an iguana from getting real sunlight. It's as if they're solar powered, isn't it? They are amazing creatures...
