So you're Cirsus' mom (dad?)! Iz's & his Mom were 2 of my big (on-line) comforters during Shirley's crisis. She mentioned Cirsis in her last Iggies Network post (didn't it just tear you up to hear about Iz?) and while I did see your posts in the archieves, wasn't able to determine what had happened to Cirsis.

Only two months ago, huh? I know you're still grieving over that baby. This is the first I've heard of a herp cancer. If you don't mind my asking . . . what kind of cancer was it? Do the vets have any type of treatment for cancer's in herps.

Do you think you'll ever considered eventually adopting a rehab Ig? I know Iz's Mom isn't planning on going that way and I can actually understand. I lost my Bearded Dragon ('Tino) last fall, and have since filled her big cage w/a anole/gecko/grass lizard community. Couldn't bear to see it empty but knew filling it w/another Beardie would just remind me of Tino, who was a rehab w/terribly skeltal reminders of the early neglect that caused her mbd. In addition to her crooked/curled front legs & toes (which you can't see in this pic), notice how the right side of her back was distincted caved in.

:
: even down to the black spots on her side.Cirsis was 5ft and weighed 13lbs of total loving ig.She loved to be loved and around people.
: Boy I miss her still. Two months ago I had to send her to Rainbow Bridge due to being diagonised with cancer. She was 8yrs old.
