Do not, I repeat do not get suckered into buying a calcium vitamin spray, because they're useless and do nothing that water can't do. Iguanas can't absorb calcium or vitamins through their skin, and neither can any animal or mammal that I know of. Just mist your iguana with water if you want to obtain the same effect. Water promotes shedding, which is what you want.

: The guy at the petsore (ys i know, I dont promote pet store purchases.. but my son begged, and i am weak :)suggested a calcium/vitamin spray..anyone know about that?? and also a weekly uva enhancer?? just comments on whether they are neccessary or not..
