Last night I walked by him and said, "How's it going?" He stuck out his dewlap and bobbed at me. This morning, after putting his food in for him, I said, "Good morning, Sleestack" and he bobbed again! He is definitely communicating, but I just don't think he is saying "Good morning" back! I think it is more like a grumpy old man or rebellious teen and he is saying, "P*ss off!" He isn't really scared/angry though because I've seen it when he really hates someone and there is no comparison of body language. He just considers Bob and me an annoyance (a necessary evil) to deliver his food and take him potty.
