You could check with your local SPCA. Although they may not keep any there, they probably do have people bring them in. They would most likely send those they do get in to the closest iguana rescue, and they can refer you to them. I know my local SPCA does this.

: I'm looking to adopt a Green Iguana. I don't want to buy a baby from a pet store. I'd rather find one that needs a home. Problem is I don't know of any place near me that rescues Iguanas. Does anyone know here I can adopt an Iguana in or near Orange County N.Y.
