Yea, I had quoted the wrong price for David Blairs hybrids, they're cheaper than I thought. For some reason I thought I had seen them for more, but I guess not. Anyhow, yes, you're right, i'm looking for a hybrid, not a purebreed, although if I could find one cheap enough and didn't have to get any special permits I wouldn't mind one. I'll be more than happy with a hybrid though. Thanks for those links, i'll take a look.

John-Paul: besides David Blair there's Carl and Janet Fuhri, also Bob Ehrig. Both of these breeders have wonderful animals. You can find their emails on the I.I.S. site. Those prices from Blair look pretty steep to me. I just picked up a hybrid yearling at a show for $150. Granted, I happened to be in the right place at the right time but last time I checked David had '00 hatch hybrids for $225.
