I was going to order some more lights from Pet Warehouse and now I'm confused after reading there discriptions. Also it is my natural state of mind lately. Rambling again. Anyway, I was going to get ReptiSun 5.0 and it says that it has 5.0 percent UVB and 30% UVA. But it doesn't recommend it for igs. Recommends Iguana Lite 5.0. That mentions the 5.0 percent UVB but doesn't mention anything on the UVA. My box turtle will be thrilled because it is recommended that he use the ReptiSun 5.0. Doesn't Sneakers need any UVA lighting as well? Which one is the right choice?
Also I noticed that they have lighting hoods that will hold both the fluorescent and basking lights. Right now we have electrical cords running everywhere. Do you think this would be a good idea? It sounded good to me. Can anyone see a problem with this? We could put this hood on the main basking end and still have another basking light over the middle of the cage at a lower wattage for a gradient heat.
Just want to do it right.
Joan (mass confusion)
