I agree with you.Small amounts of protein once a week is not bad for iguanas.I use to give them some carbohydrate also like bread and rice but small amounts only mixed with a lot of vegetables.I ve been raising them for three years and they never got sick, not even a running nose!!

I have raised my oldest from the size of a dollar bill to 17 he died last year of natural causes ( I knew you would ask ) and I have been running a rescue for 17 years now . I have three left looking for homes . Iguanas are no longer legal for pet stores to sell here anymore so when these three are gone I am retired from the iguana care life .

: You should find out a little more about a person before you try to tell them what they dont know ..
