Lizzy my almost four year old is also recovering.
She was diagnosed with this when she could not lay her eggs this past february.
Not a really bad case but she needed to stay at the vet and lay her eggs.
I did notice the lower jaw looking unusual and took her in right away.
With liquid calcium, meds and hand feeding she is now almost back to her ornery self.
If you or any one suspects that to be the case my suggestion would be to take you Ig to the vet ASAP.
