In Reply to: Feeding Leaves of Green Bean Plants??? posted by Joe S on May 15, 2002 at 21:13:27:
I believe they're okay to feed, although i'm not certain of their nutritional value, but nevertheless, they won't hurt your ig, I know that much.
John-Paul: Hello All,
: I am curious if anybody knows about the benefits (or lack of) of feeding the leaves from green bean plants to iguanas. I seem to remember reading in the book by Mr. Vosjoli that some iguanas in the wild were known to feed on them and they were high in protein. I am wondering if this would be good to feed, perhaps occasionally, to my iguana.
: Thanks for any suggestions.
: Joe
