Anybody's iguana(s) more affectionate than mine, mine...

Ok i took my iggy out of his room today to give him a piggy back ride to the kitchen, and he crawled on my chest and put his head under my chin, and i looked down and licked my lips, then i made the ::smooch smooch:: noises with my lips and he looked around and licked my lips again. Are there any reasons behind his affection?
