my iguana's not eating, i'm getting worried

hey, i have a problem and i'm wondering if anyone can help me with it...
i'd have to say about a month or two ago, my female iguana stopped eating. she drank water when we offered her it, but she never ate. she spent her days at the bottom of her terrarium digging away at the glass or trying to get out the cage door. after about 3 or 4 weeks, she settled down again and started eating. however, in about 1 week she went back into that state of not eating, and it's been over a month now of her trying to escape, not eating, and drinking water about every day.

she's getting very skinny now... her stomach looks empty. we think she's in heat, but it seems like it's going on for too long. if anyone knows what's going on, or knows if it's possible to help her out in any way, i'd really appreciate hearing it.
