just a suggestion, when trying to pick him up... try to pick him up from under the back legs and belly. Baby use to have a fit if I would try to pick up front half first - or put my hand towards his face. He still doesn't like me touching around his face. I also talk to him when I am getting ready to pick him up, or approach him when he is sleeping. Good luck
