Iz's mom, everything you said makes sense. My vet said that its likely she'd had the worms since birth. Man! is the Panacur stinky and gross or what. I've spent the night disinfecting everything. However, I'm concerned because the vet said pin worms weren't contagious to humans. It would appear that may be incorrect. I have a cat too. Now I have to worry about her...sigh...thanx for the input.
Iguanamomma, it wasn't the calcium level that needed to be lowered but, the phosphorous. He attributed the elevated calcium level to her being gravid. Her protein was high too. Dehydrated. I've since learned however, that some proteins are bound to calcium therefore, thats also a possibility. I'm gonna get an x ray at my next appointment 3wks from now. Unless of course I see her in any more distress.....I'm just frustrated. After finally gaining her trust I'm destroying it having to stuff all this medicine down her throat, with no one to help wit the unpleasant task. Even with long sleeves I'm ripped to shreds and getting wacked regularly. She sees me coming and bingo!...Its worth every second though!!!
Thanx
