Point being, how do we know? I have an incredibly blue iguana who has been fed primarily monkey biscuits his whole life (not be my, but by the people who surrendured him to us). Doubt the monkey biscuits changed his color...

: Actuall what it proves is that you can truelly influence the colors that your iguana will be with the food that you give them. That I believe, I've seen an orange iguana that just loved carrots, ate them first out of all his food. But I will also say that just all around health, lack of stress, mood, etc will all help shape the color of an iguana.
