Will it work? Doubtfull. So far, any study done on neutering and male agression has not been proven to have any impact on their tempermant. The majority of adult igs fixed display no change after the operation.

Personally, I would not subject my iguana to major surgery (it is MAJOR, male iguanas sexual organs are completely inside the body) if I knew that odds are it would not do anything.
