3 days is hardly enough time for an iguana to get established in his cage. You have it warm enough and the correct lighting and so forth?
Assuming you have all that, it can take awhile for an iguana to start eating or pooping normally. Sometimes up to a month (and even longer then that!)
Just depends on how stressed the iguana is and/or what's happened to him. So just give it a little while, and if you don't think he's acting like he should, take him to the vet. I'd reccomend taking him to a qualified herp vet since he is your new iguana.
