Without waking up fully and examining the ingredients closely there's something wrong here... the "Feeding Directions" caught my eye ....
**Feeding Directions
Feed as the primary source of food to iguanas. MazuriŽ Iguana Diet should account for 50% or more of the daily intake, Other food items, such as greens and vegetables, may be included in the daily food offering, but should account for less then half of the daily intake. It may be necessary to mix MazuriŽ Iguana Diet with water or fresh vegetables until the animals learn to eat the diet. If moistened, the diet should be replaced at least twice daily. Provide plenty of fresh, clean water at all times.**
Granted, the company is out to make money but anyone suyggesting that fresh food be less than 50% of ANY animal's diet throws up a red flag for me. And if an animal has to "learn" to eat something..... I DID notice that they made sure that their Ca:P ratio was EXACTLY 2:1 - how convenient. The ingredient list itself could be worse but there are a few things in there(nicotinic acid and cholocalciferol, etc) that concern me. Not sure what role nicotinic acid plays in an ig's diet and if you're artifically supplimenting D3 in the diet it may be difficult for an ig to regulate natural D3 synthesis.
Too many things caught my half focused eyes... Not sure I want to go back to the site once I'm fully awake...
