I live in Texas, and the humidity here is pretty high, so I don't worry too much. But a good way to keep the ig's general moisture up is a daily bath. Phil has a heating pad underneath one side of his cage, set on medium, that he basks on after eating. It helps him digest. Also, Vick's makes a small humidifier that might work well for keeping the humidity in just the cage up (I know chameleon keepers use them all the time). Good luck with the new enclosure,
