this reminds me of the time when Tarzan freaked out at the sight of our neighbor's (and good friend's) black lab. He flipped! I tried to hold on, his overdue-for-a-trim nails dug into my harms and hands, and all that struggling and croc rolling finally paid off --he was free! He then proceeded to launch himself at the sliding glass door (this all happened in the family room) and scratch at it like a lunatic. Trying to pick him up was an ordeal as well! so I was yelling for someone to get me a towel and trying to restrain him while my arms and hands are being turned into ribbons. I finally got a towel onto him and snatched him up while he struggled some more. I ran into another room to calm the poor dear down. He was breathing so heavily I though he'd pass out!

Just one of the joys of ig-ownership, eh?

lol, he's also afraid of big noisy cars and trucks! but thats a whole 'nother outdoor ordeal! *sigh*
