If he is 3 feet stl, then he needs much more space than this. Trying to house an iguana in an enclosure less wide than he is long is like trying to make someone live their entire life in a closet that is too wide for them to turn around in. I have a juvie that is a bit shorter than that and he lives in a 3x2x3 cage that I expect him to outgrow within the year. Iguanas are large animals that require a ton of space. If you look at a lot of owners' websites, you can see that they have converted closets and even entire rooms into homes for their lizards. A website like lizardcages.com will give you an idea about the appropriate size of an enclosure for an ig. Good luck,
