ig. hasn't shed in months

since last nov. my ig. hasn't shed. His season behavior started then and ended about 1 month ago. He eats and drinks and poos regularly just like what he did before he went in season. Can someone tell me what is going on? is it normal?? my ig. is 3 ft from nose to tip of the tail.
