Dear Speedy, I was saddened by your post. Death is so much more difficult when we don't have the answer to the question of "why?" Please don't feel that you have to "sulk" alone....there are people at this forum who will be here for you and know what you are feeling.

Sometimes we never are able to answer the "why" of a pet's death......but have to console ourselves with the knowledge that we provided for him/her as best we could in the time they were with us.

My family sends you our sympathy in your loss.
