A few ago I let my male and female ig's out of their cages (both have seperate enclosures). I have a male Mr. Ig and a female Sissy. They generally just ignore each other and go their seperate ways, mr. ig is all over the place and sissy follows me around. In any case when I went back in the room with their morning feed they were mating. Took all of 2 minutes. Mr. Ig already went in to season his first time from July to the end of August last year. Well I guess he's in season again as was she a few weeks back. So how long does it take before eggs are layed? Sissy is not eating much and looks bloated and of course is doing the digging thing. My intention was never to let them mate. Mr. Ig didn't show any signs this time of being in season and neither did she. I thought I had until July before Mr. Ig went into season again.
