Floppy passed away at about 2pm on 4/11. He was a great pet and he will be missed dearly :-(.
I had made him an appointment to see the vet at 2:30 that day but he didnt make.
If anyone has any sarcasm, please keep it to yourself. I loved floppy very much and I feel very guilty for his death. Now that he is gone I keep thinking of all the signs and that I should have gotten him to a vet along time ago.
I'll tell you guys his situation and maybe you'll have an idea of what happened.
Floppy was a free roamer (I keep my house pretty clean and I have a 1yr so I keep it kid and iguana safe). Durring the summer months he lived down stairs on a counter in the living room. He was very happy, and got lots of food(veggies and fruits of course) and love from everyone (we have roommates). When a friend of mine would make pico de gallo he would smell the cilantro and stomp into the kitchen and make her give him some (she was afraid of him). Anyways, he was a very healthy and happy iguana. We have wood heat downstairs and durring the winter months it gets very cold at night so we moved floppy upstairs where there is electric heat. I think moving him up there pissed him off or something. He stared out our window all the time. I would feed him and he would eat a tiny bit and then throw the rest on the floor. And then he just stopped eating all together. I had alot of signals to take him to the vet but I thought he was just being a brat and would get over it and start eating. But obviously I was wrong. If anyone has any ideas as to what might have been wrong I would like to hear them.

Thanks and sorry so long,
JenniferLM
