I had a similar problem with my male ig, Talon when I moved him and Claw into a bigger cage. The top of the cage stays warm enough, but the bottom gets cold. Talon found the coldest part of the cage, and was there for a whole day before I realized he was too cold! Well, after I moved him he just never did it again. I think as long as your ig is able to move back to a warmer area of the cage when she wants, then it isn't a problem. Just so the temp doesn't go too low.
