What i normally do with the fruit..

With the fruit, i normally just fix his salad with the veggies, then when i fix his portion in the morning i sprinkle a few pieces of a fruit on there. That way i know he's not getting of fruit and also i know he'll eat the fruit and start chompin on the greens that way also.

To me it also makes the salad less 'gooey' if you will. Banana's suck if you don't cut them up and add them after, they kinda just make a paste if yout ry to mix them in a salad. Strawberries are pretty easy to mix in, kiwi i'd imagine is more like the banana.

Anyways..i've just found that that helps me when i'm making my iggy a salad. Perhaps it can help you as well =)
