Should I not feed the guy cold food (as in right from the refridgerator) or should I let it sit out a little while before I feed him.
Thank you all so much for your help. I am looking for as many sites as I can, I'm searching this forum, and I'll get the book Mr. D suggested probably on Monday (when I take a poop to the vet).
As for handling the guy, I think he is stressed out as it is (without the move). The present owner said that he can't hold him and that he tends to be skittish. I have no idea of the origin of this animal (wild caught or captive bread or anything). How do you suggest that I go about trying to start handling him (he has not been regularly handled before).
Again, thanks so much. Sometimes forums can be a little hostile toward beginners with all kinds of dumb beginner questions. Thanks a lot! You've been very helpful.
Shanna
