They don't recommend using one because of breaking the spikes. Also, no leash because it could choke them.

I was trying to think of a way to make a harness that wouldn't hurt (say around the belly to the back). Maybe making it out of felt. I thought of using velcro to close it and maybe shoelaces. Just something so I could take him outside and be able to keep a hold on him without him running up a tree.
