How about asparagus, can they have it? And would you cook it or give it to them raw? Same question about the squash, do you feed it raw? Now I think I read somewhere that they really like parsley, I have a herb garden, how about other herbs? Im getting ready to start planning my garden, this year will be with lizard diet in mind. It will be a nice switch to grow some new things I have never tried before, like the greens. It will make it easier to give him a varied diet too. The produce section will be right out my back door and not to mention cheaper, although I think out of all of my animals this is the cheapest one to feed. LOL
Non spike seems to be doing good, still doesnt have a name. Although my son left today and said he was thinking about the name "ZED" I have no idea where he came up with that one. So we will see if he sticks with it. Last night non spike bit my son. Ya know he is a little guy, but it did break the skin. My son had him out holding him, he took off and when recaptured took a chomp on my sons finger. I think he was having fun running around my sons room. LOL Oh I called my vet yesterday and they said he does treat lizards. Ok now I just adore my vet, he is great with my animals, and I will add all of my animals act like total fools at the vets office LOL. But I dont think he is a herpetologist, so can all vets treat lizards, but a herp dr. is just speicalized in reptiles? Im confused about this. It would be great if I could take non spike to my vet should the need arise, but I think I might prefer a herp vet. My vet probably dreads seeing me come in. LOL See I just have the luck of haveing animals with attitude, so I am sure non spike is gonna fit right in. The dog acts a big baby about having her nails trimmed and the psycho male himilayan cat requires the vet, 1 assistant, me and my husband to restrain him for shots. And I will add he doesnt even have claws. I did say psycho. LOL Non spike does seem pretty docile compaired to psycho kitty. Well I will quit babbleing for now. Thanks again for all the info. Tami
