I was having the same trouble with Cleo...she got the hang of the container, and I was thrilled...then I gave her more shelf space, and she forget where her potty was...well, I moved her potty as close as I could to the place that replaced the potty (The fish tank :o( ), and today I came home and she had used the container! Hooray!! I started like iZ's mon, putting her in the bathtub at around the same time each day, then I introduced a container full of water. She didn't like it much...finally, as a last attempt, I put the container at the end of her shelf, with water in it...then this morning was the move to the top of the now covered fish tank. Water seemed to be the key for Cleo....funny story...yesterday my husband saw Cleo going down off her shelf, which she only does when she's gotta go...well, he just tried to up and grab her, and she scratched him a little...can you blame her?? A perfect stranger grabbing you in the way to the potty?? Well, a little later we were shopping, and he just went on about how she had just "sliced" him...he showed me the place...a little bitty scratch!! He shut up when I showed him the sratches all down my arm from where I had to sooth her ruffled self over letting him anywhere near her in the first place!!
