REALLY STRANGE BEHAVIOR!

I rescued Lil Green Bean a few months ago from uneducated owners. He had a bad case of metabolic bone disease and I weened him back to health. He is almost a normal iguana BUT he displays a really weird behavior when he basks. He will lift one of his back legs straight up in the air. It is a really weird sight!! It looks as if he is trying to sun the bottom of his foot. His legs is normal and not broken and he uses it normally most of the time. What could be casusing him to do this? He also appears to be bloated after he eats and I was wondering if he might have parasites. What is the best over the counter treatment for this? Could his leg lifting be related to the bloating? Any info you can give me would be great! Thanx!
