Just wanted to tell everyone thanks for all the info. I have learned quite a bit here on this forum. My son pulled a good one this morning. He wanted me to let him stay home from school to take care of his iguana(still unamed). Today is his frist day back to school from spring break so there was no way he was staying home. LOL I assured him I will take care of the iguana while he is at school. I spoke with my mother last night who informed me that my dad would be building the ig enclosure. Since she has purchased him a enormous amount of woodworking tools ect, he is going to put them to use. LOL So between my hubby and my dad the igs enclosure should be pretty cool. My dad thinks the ig is pretty cool. When I told him what he ate, mustard greens, collard greens and turnip greens, my dad says well he must be from down south. LOL My dad is from Tennessee and loves a good plate of greens. I will be growing some this summer and dad will get the extras the ig cant eat. LOL I also thought I would introduce my self a bit more, since I will probably be hanging around here a lot. Im 33, have one 13 year old son, 2 persian cats, 1 huge husky/lab mix dog, a 55 gal aquarium w/ a bunch of fish and now a ig. Yes I have a small zoo. LOL We live in Illinois. I work as a Orthodontic Assistant, part time, although I might need to pick up extra hours to afford all these critters. LOL My husband is a electronic technician, works on the one hour photo machines. I will have to get a picture taken soon of the ig and post it. One quick question? I am trying to determine what type of lights I have. This was allready set up when I got him. She said the uvb bulb was about $30 and is specifically for reptiles, the basking light is one of those clamp on kind and the bulb looks like a flood light, she said this was also for reptiles and was about $10. Any one got any ideas? They are new, just purchased a couple weeks ago. Ok now I was told to leave those two on all day and when I shut those off at night to turn on the heat rock, well I found from reading those are not a good idea. So what should be on at night to keep him warm? Sorry I guess that was a couple questions. LOL Well I will cut the book short for now. Thanks again to everyone. Tami
