young for the head to darken. Baby's was green until he was almost eighteen months. His stripes sometimes turn darker when he's basking and soaking up good UVB. How big is your iguana? Is he acting lethargic or sick? Is he warm enough, cage big enough, etc. etc.? Maybe you could post a picture of what you are talking about. J
