My point, with something like a RotoZip that can cut plexi easily and cleanly & handy person available the solvent to work with plexi only costs 5-10$ and the plexi hinges are only a couple apiece themselves. If this enclosure is still around you might want to consider cutting doors into that enclosure instead of fighting with it. Sounds like a potentially great setup - why not make full use of it and stop swearing at it? ;)
