iZ has still been very unwilling to "go bathroom" and acting in such a way that tells me it's cuz something hurts ...
we went back to his doc yesterday ...
good news is that his mouth is looking a zillion times better, swelling is WAY down ...
bad news is that the tummy xrays show *something!?* in his stomach that is/was not food ...
good news is that there's NOT another bladder stone which had been my *biggest* fear ...
his appetite is actually improving a bit over the last week ~ i s'pose cuz his mouth is feeling better ... in 10 days, he re-gained over 1/4 pound back from the weight he'd lost ... he's not dehydrated ...
but something looks stuck ...
he's on "Lactulose" ~ 1cc every 8 hrs ~ til Thursday afternoon, then more xrays to see if that helped move the mass along at all ...
if *not*, then i get him to drink barium and we go back Saturday morning for MORE xrays ...
*sigh*
i can't imagine what he got into to eat ... he's not allowed to roam for *that* reason ...
never a dull moment is there???
hubby is threatening to make me stand on street corners to help pay the vet bills ...
well, at least we like + trust his new doctor(s) ... it's a husband/wife team, so we get 2 for 1 ... *weak grin*
