"One common misconception is that an iguana raised on animal protein will grow to be a larger size or will reach its full size faster."
This is not a " misconception " it is true young iguanas feed high amounts of animal protein do in fact grow faster . Every farm I know of including Flukers and the Brazilian government's farm ( for release ) all feed animal protein Flukers is known to feed pinkies by the bowl full others use processed food . They do this to get the " product " ready for market faster .
As I said in the previous post nobody knows where the line might be between an ok amount and a bad amount . It is better to simply avoid animal protein .
