You must change his diet...he is probably NOT healthy...they hide their illnesses very well. He may be stubborn but you are going to have to lose the lettuce. Make sure he has a UV light, heat lamp, large enclosure, and plenty of good veggies like collard, mustard, turnip greens, dandelion, endive, escarole, watercress. You can use squashes and a little fruit on top like berries, melon, mango.
