They arent meant to eat any animal protien and you never know exactly how much would cause the problem. Id say give treats like an extra piece of fruit instead.

Say like once or twice a month...Just a few small pieces???? Hoss loves it....I've never given it to him as a meal....Only rarely when I've felt he's been a really good boy....No poop in the cage, no knocking his saladplate down to the floor...You get the picture!
