tomatoes ~ irritating to most igs mouth ~ too acidic
red leaf lettuce ~ lettuce is lettuce is lettuce ~ no nutrients, why bother?
peas ~ ok occasionally, don't use as a staple part of diet ~ high in protein = hard on kidneys
corn ~ undigestable, goes in + comes out looking exactly the same ~ again, why bother?
carrots ~ ok occasionally, not as a staple, high in phosphorus ~ grated or sliced *thin* with a vegie peeler ~ (iZ *loves* 'em)
best thing for an ig's color is a healthy diet + environment ~ the rest is up to it's individual genetics ...
