First off, I should say that I do not own an iguana... the only expierence I had with one was a few years ago when I found a full grown adult iguana wandering in my back yard which I took care of for a few weeks until (with the help of my vet) found a home for him...

A new petco opened up near me a few months ago and i just recently checked it out for supplies (i have a leopard gecko and a honduran milksnake).. amazingly most of their reptiles seems pretty healthy and in very large cages... EXCEPT for the iguanas.. they were in a approx: 3 foot high, by 2 wide and 2 deep cage... there were 6 of them in there, called "blue iguanas".. they were about 1 foot and half stl and they were mostly grey/dark brown with green towards the middle, back of them

Is this normal for them? They looks rather stressed but Im not sure... i wish i had the time, money and space to get them out of there but unfortunatly i dont. ALso, what is a blue iguana?? I never heard of them.. i only ever heard the term green iguana or giant green iguana.. is there a difference?? thanks
