Don't make a decision you'll regret. MAKE SURE you really want to take him in, not just from the sympathy of your heart.

Ask to spend some time with him, and see how he might be. You'll either fall for him and not care about the attitude, which can be adjusted with time, or you'll be overwhelmed and decide that you should wait some more for an ig.

If you decide not to get him, volunteer to help find him a better home =)
