Hi,
Ally is a club-tailed iguana. That would be the ctenosaura quinquecarinata. These and a few other (rarer) dwarf species are the true clubtails, whilst the other (much larger)ctenosaura don't have the slightly flattened tail, and are commonly referred to as 'spiny-tailed' or 'black' iguanas. Or at least as far as I can tell - there's not much around about them.
Your best bet is to go the the cyclura/ctenosaurus forum here on kingsnake. One guy there breeds them, and a couple of owners are there too. It is a slower moving forum though.
I feed mine a regular ig salad (collard greens, dandelion greens, watercress, squash, carrots, snap peas (take forever to cut into itty bitty bite-sized pieces!) and about 10% fruit it it isn't citrus. The ctenosaurs need animal protein - Ally gets small worms about three times a week. They also need fresh water daily - they actually drink it - and a large cage with a LOT of space to run around in. UVB light, time, ceramic heater, basking spot, .. the usual iguana stuff. And a hide box is very important too.
All this for a six inch (SVL)lizard you say?
Well you should see his cute l'il face!!
Best of luck,
Wendy
