safe plant question

hey guys. I'm hoping someone can recommend me a safe tree-type plant that is on the smallish side (3ft at the max) for Phil's cage. We are at my mother's house in Austin (Phil's first big trip and he's doing great!) and the little guy is making it very clear that he wants one by jumping off my shoulder into the nearest bit of greenery every chance he gets and looking balefully at me. Thanks.
