Take a pair of heavy duty rubber gloves and cut the fingers out of them. This will save your wrists when picking him up and holding him. Also, how long are you holding him at one time? The longer the session, the better. While you are watching a tv program, etc. Talk to him the whole time and if he squirms, try to continue holding him. When you are ready to let him down, make sure it's not after a struggle. He needs to know that you are in charge, if you let him down after he struggles, he'll think he can do that each time and be able to "get away". This has worked for me with all my rescues. The longer the taming session, the better. Good luck and keep us posted! J
