Sorry if I ramble but I'm beside myself. To cut a long story short...recently adopted ig supposedly male. No way!I could tell the second I checked her thighs. Had for about a month. Went for an exam last night and was horrified by the results of the blood work today. Calcium, protein and phosphorous levels way elevated. As she is most definately female calcium level has been attributed to her being gravid. Vet says protein to dehyration and phosphorous to renal disease. Wants her on amphigel liquid half tsp 2x's a day. Give her somewhere to lay those eggs. A box lined with sand I know but, how big and what do I do with it. Lay it on its side, close it what???? I'm sure he told me all of this but I was so upset I have lived with male igs for a long time and have her on a great diet, plenty of free roam time and her condition has improved since I took her from the irresponsible owners she had lived with for the last 3 years or so. I'm so afraid of losing her I'm in tears...any and all feedback would be so appreciated!
