Just thought I would share the latest picture of baby Keegan, taken yesterday afternoon right after his "play time" in the tub (which he LOVES). He is still on the skinny side, but I can tell he is making progress in gaining weight after looking through some of the older photos.

His last vet visit went well, in fact the Doc says he is making a lot of improvement. When I first got him, he was thin... all he was being fed was lettuce. And then with the stress of moving, well, it had to get worse before it got better. Despite his obvious bad start, he has kept active and healthy (so far so good). Now that he is well settled, he eats readily, and Doc says to keep feeding him as much as he will eat. (Right now he is up to about a tablespoon of food a day, more or less)

I am making his food myself, consisting of fresh green beans, squash, alfalfa, mango, mustard greens, asparagus, small amount of carrots, calcium & vitamins. He seems to really like green beans right now, but the diet is chopped really fine in a blender so he can't pick it all out.

He seems to like this diet pretty well, and it is a drastic change from his former food. Does anyone have any suggestions as to anything that may be better for helping him regain his weight? Doc says this diet sounds good, but I just thought I would ask you guys if you had any others that may better suit the situation. Like I said, he is gaining slowly which I am glad of.

Well, anyway, just wanted to show off another photo. Hope everyone is doing well and I look forward to hearing what you have to say...!

Krisann & Keegan
