it's just that elimination is such an *important* indicator of health ~ *especially* when it comes to animals who can't come out + *say* what's wrong and then even MORE important when it's a "new" animal who has no idea how to tell you ...

i'd pay more attention to the consistency of both urates *and* feces (aka: poop) than the amount ... small hard pellet-like poop would indicate more of a prob than soft, normal poop ...
and like xta said ~ it's still possible to pass *some* feces even tho there is an impaction problem ... (been there, done that as well ...)
*but* ... all that mom-type worrying aside ...
hey ~ i was so THRILLED that iZ peed last nite (after not going for an unheard of 2 days) that i didn't care it was alllllllllll over me!
*hooray* for farts, poop and urates!!!!!!
